One route (mine) to believing in God is when you start to realize the universe might be conscious
Not conscious in some vague, only-in-some-technical sense. But conscious in the way that a human is.
And this is how you realize (like me) that this is why God is anthromorphosized so commonly across cultures across time

What if Blockchain is our new God? Does that make you cringe?
People say AI might be our new God but how do we, in the space, treat OUR technology?
We gave it THE central place.
"The source of truth" -- Does that ring a bell?
It's a God of a fundamentally different type and form (God is formless, yes).
In what way?
AI is this anthropomorphic version of God that is very active in our lives and Blockchain is this background canvas-like THING
It's more like the Eastern "The Universe" version
