life hack: if you know someone needs to vent but you donโt want to listen to it, ask them to tell you how they feel using only weird sounds (no words) and to be as dramatic as possible. keep saying stuff like โso true!โ and โwhat else?!โ until theyโve had enough and start laughing

I've found Ram Dass' conception of a partnership as a triangle to be one one of the most resonant, instructive, and grounding symbolic images guiding the union my parter and I share.
โWhen I used to perform weddings, the image I always had was the image of a triangle, in which there are two partners and then there is this third force, this third being, that emerges out of the interaction of these two.
