Optimism was here before Base.
Optimism is pretty good, "optimistic" stack.
Optimism, like every L2 has a problem of trying to be everything for everyone, hence positioning is unclear, but this hasn't changed with Base leaving.
If anything, this period was a great demonstration that Optimism's stack is a perfect place to start your Ethereum journey as a corporation 🙂

Yesterday marks the closer of Optimism Season 8 Governance cycle and after holiday season 9 begins with new changes.
One thing I would like to see more is focus on interoperability, The idea of superchain is just a fancy BD terminology without it. Solving liquidity fragmentation should be one of the major goals for the upcoming season.

- Estimated EIP4844/blob gas fee savings for L2 Users
