noise cancelling earphones are a blessing. i should’ve made my life easier years ago instead of waiting until last year to get a pair for myself. being in public spaces is SO much easier for me now 🥺

Didn't line up trains, but did have a mountain of stuffed animals that each had their own designated spot on my bed, and couldn't go to sleep until I made sure they were all properly in said designated spot

I honestly find it laughable when people claim that self identified neurodivergent people are just doing it for attention or as some trend. Like, getting an actual diagnosis can be incredibly difficult. There are so many hoops you have to jump through. Lack of money, lack of understanding from medical professionals, just to name a few. Many self identified neurodivergent people do it so they can at least begin to accept themselves and get the information they need to meet their needs.

I see a cast of a meme that is asking a particular question. I get curious and decide to do some research. I post my results. But something isn't right. Because I'm scrolling through the comments, and I keep seeing "What's wrong?" In my confusion, I am scouring the post, looking for some clue as to what everyone is talking about, unable to understand. I never do find my answer, and end up deleting what I said, not wanting to come off as insensitive. This is often what being autistic for me means. Constantly searching for a clue that everyone else seems to have gotten but never finding it.

Key to waking up on time is using Alexa ROUTINES (Google call them AUTOMATIONS) with a slow build up of light, sound, news, rooster noises. Give yourself half an hour and start softly. Build up to very bright and very loud. Make it fun!
