I haven't been on here in a hot minute, clearly I'm autistic and change is scary and when all the stuff with channels started changing a few months ago I got a bit intimidated and sorta just went MIA 😭

I don't let the mean rude customers get to me. Why? Let me tell a story. I was working my first job. This guy came up to the register, very angry and rude. I was shocked. What did I do to deserve this? He stormed out of the store. Immediately after, a woman came in, came directly up to me and apologized on his behalf. She said "I'm so sorry. That's my son. We just lost a family member." That has always stuck with me. Usually, I am having a very brief interaction with the customers I serve. I don't know what is going on with them. I don't know what they are going through. Is it fair for me to be treated that way? Absolutely not. But I choose to not judge because I don't know what kind of day they're having. And that is how I will go through life being successful. Choosing kindness and compassion as much as I can. (This is my submission for this round, inspirational stories ❀)

Didn't line up trains, but did have a mountain of stuffed animals that each had their own designated spot on my bed, and couldn't go to sleep until I made sure they were all properly in said designated spot

I honestly find it laughable when people claim that self identified neurodivergent people are just doing it for attention or as some trend. Like, getting an actual diagnosis can be incredibly difficult. There are so many hoops you have to jump through. Lack of money, lack of understanding from medical professionals, just to name a few. Many self identified neurodivergent people do it so they can at least begin to accept themselves and get the information they need to meet their needs.

Exactly this. Everyone was a beginner at some point and even for those more advanced than you, they are also always learning too.
