Kanye West didn't play those soul records — he sampled them and turned them into something new. That's exactly what vibe coding is. You don't need to be a developer. You take the tools, shape them to your vision, and build something that elevates your art — websites, apps, games, visual experiences. The artists who figure this out first are going to separate themselves from everyone else still just posting clips.

i've been using my own audio metering for the last several months to study all commercial audio i listen to on my machine.. the -14 LUFS standard Spotify advertise is beyond ridiculous. what i'm seeing for dance music is -8 to -3 (!!) LUFS i'm personally mastering house and techno to a -8 to -6 LUFS range these days. -14 LUFS is just not competitive or even practical.

You don’t need any more plugins 🎹 I say this as someone who’s absolutely guilty of buying them too. At a certain point, more tools stop helping and start distracting. You spend more time auditioning sounds, scrolling presets, and reorganizing folders than actually making music. Most producers already have everything they need to make great records. What’s usually missing isn’t a plugin—it’s decisions. Commit to sounds. Learn the tools you already own. Finish songs with what’s in front of you.

MENTE SOLAR / WIP Music production is such a fascinating world. Over the past years, my goal has been to improve and become better on the technical audio side. Buying courses and tools, watching hours of tutorials, taking risks, and asking friends have helped me a lot. Hearing how much I've improved through passionate persistence humbles me. At some point, I asked God if maybe I should stop pursuing music. But the answers come back in the most beautiful ways! Here's a short preview of "Mente Solar".

i am good at making loops and bad at finishing tracks. i want to finish this one before it becomes another perpetually incomplete idea in the large and growing pile besides obvious mixing work, it needs better arrangement of the vocal and a breakdown. maybe a little more meat on the bass synth? and probably at least one more synth part

Being a musician isn’t dead. The job just changed. Making good music is no longer the differentiator. AI can do that now. What can’t be replaced: • Your taste • Your opinions • Your story • Your connection with people People don’t follow songs. They follow people, movements, and communities. Music is still the product — but content is now part of the craft, not the marketing. Adapt how you show up, or get buried by the noise.
