Watched this over the weekend and felt myself nodding along, mega based take on the state of "Growth" as a role and it's responsibilities. Imo every growth person in 2025 should be able to build end to end systems, own them completely without devs, and maintain a much wider function scope with the use of AI. You are the growth eng, the data analyst, the partnerships person and you need to clearly see how all these things fit together. https://youtu.be/Vc6ij1ilhwc

AI search traffic is still tiny but seems to be massively over-performing for organic conversions. Ahref put out a report showing that ChatGPT is driving 12.1% of their signups at a 23x higher CVR than traditional organic. That's insane. If you aren't already, it's time to start AI search optimizing.

Heard a marketing hack yesterday 1. No one listens to podcasts, only bite-sized brainrot 2. Set up a video recording like you’re on a podcast with a nice armchair with a mic. 3. Say a bunch of 20-second bangers. Post only those From a video/brand influencer with 1M+ on socials

engagement farming is just the new cold calling. everyone hates it, it barely works, but people do it because attention is perceived as valuable. it’s not valuable. engagement is the vanity metric of people who’ve forgotten how to build demand. https://x.com/jaesmail/status/1983950424647348687?s=46

You can't hack genuine connection. But you can earn it by doing what Seinfeld, Bourdain, and Slack all did: say the thing everyone's thinking but nobody's saying out loud. https://offmenu.substack.com/p/say-the-unsaid

Uhh that explains things. Two weeks is the time it should take you to research the brand's culture before deciding on a key visual. https://x.com/varunsrin/status/1980347262837616710?t=jzR6cG6Zm-aEUy3mF5NrGQ&s=19

I'm excited to start trying out new ways to reach audiences on FC, Base App and beyond. Never been something I've done well on my own! Top tools I want to try are @ethereumdaily.eth and @hypeman ... but I bet I'm missing lots more ways to get the word out about Databaseball

Around 2017, Uber was paying $50m in rider and driver incentives just in China alone. Damn! That’s some company’s Series B.

it's not guerrilla marketing when you paste a pamplet with qr on a wall and post it online saying we did this it's when you don't have to say it
