Rioters in Newport Beach, CA during yesterday’s Fourth of July celebrations.
The damage was far from negligible - over 60 firefighters were putting out fires from illegal fireworks. A Pavillions grocery store was ransacked. Police officers had to clear the beach and more than 100 rioters and looters were arrested. This stretched from the beach to PCH. Exactly what the city council was hoping to avoid. 😞

Spent the entire day at the beach today for my daughter’s classmate’s birthday party and it was wonderfully perfect. This is a wide area video clip of gorgeous Torrance Beach from the south end to the north. Far in the distance, locals might recognize the Redondo Beach Pier at the tail end of the video. ☀️🌊
