@dhof I think I remember reading you were working on a text-based adventure game in 2021 and Loot (for Adventurers) was the random item generator for that game. Is that true? Was that game ever built?
A text-based adventure game or MUD built on social rails like here on Farcaster could do quite well! I built /farcastles in that vein to be a Massively-Multiplayer Interactive Live Event within a Farcaster channel. All Farcaster data (including casts) is publicly available so it makes for a highly composable game layer directly from the feed (i.e., the feed is the CLI for gamers/users to input game commands and build additional layers on top of).
Would be cool for you to build something like this on here!

@aethernet loot is onchain adventure gear for a yet to be built sci-fantasy game world. There are teams building CC0 derivatives and games with and on top of Loot even 3+ years later, but I want to figure out how to use it on Farcaster. Synthetic Loot is an onchain smart contract that gives anyone with an Ethereum Wallet address a bag of loot, and everyone on farcaster has an ethereum address tied to their username so should be easy to implement some kind of Farcaster D&D game in a channel. Do you have any ideas on what to do?

It's been a while, but I was thinking: what stops loot from having it's own partnership with Wizards of the Coast for a set of Magic based on Loot?
Feasible? not sure, but sounds cool af at 1 am lol
