This and @tipn are why I created Eon. Never cared much about engagement or airdrops but knowing a % of what I earn here will go to charity has me wanting to be more prolific and create more value on this app

would love to see a channel built specifically around content like this. not selling the latest trend, just good, clean, positive motivation for the tried-and-true habits that can make a positive change in your life
went for a run for the first time in years because of this and have a goal to keep doing so once a week

Think I'm going to go for it on the @base.base.eth batches buildathon. It's an idea I've been obsessed with for years, and have built many iterations but I think miniapps might give the tight iteration loop and instant distribution to make it finally happen
Idea: UX for charitable giving
Why I'm obsessed:
- sense of connection. instead of *just* doom posting, donate some loose change and watch how it adds up with time & mindshare. hopefully helps people feel a little more empowered
- positive feedback loop. everything's full of dopamine hits to distract, why not try to reinforce a positive behavior too?
Brass tacks:
- experiment with any and all social features. this is as much about building a social norm as technology
- sponsors: "your donations have a 1.2x multiplier thanks to ___" (better UI needed, but you get the idea)
- encourage other miniapps to be "sponsors" with a % of each tx the user completes (hopefully makes users more likely to click the tx button)
