Laser charging drones is such a great idea for high context situations - its essentially refueling with a KC-130 extended range tanker but for UAVs (and also eventually things that fly humans too) https://x.com/pati_marins64/status/2020493962839040003?s=20

a thought: someone should build a claude context git worktree like for MCP server context because I'm running out of context, and others will too soon i also have multiple personas I want to take on (web, embedded, CAD, EDA, etc) and they have different MCP server contexts

Update: We made our own MCP server for Autodesk Fusion 360 for using it for @faust, and open sourced it here: - Text-to-CAD: describe what you want to build and Claude Code drives Fusion 360 and it can create sketches, extrude bodies, cut holes, shell parts, plan for manufacturing - 80 MCP calls covering sketching, extrusion, filleting, booleans, sheet metal, surfacing, assembly, CAM toolpath generation, covering a lot of the basic Autodesk Fusion API - Can be called via Claude Code (tested on it), or any MCP speaking AI agent/service - 166 tests, validation, mock routing etc - it's still in beta, use it with caution https://github.com/faust-machines/fusion360-mcp-server

I thought I had a pretty good understanding of how the nickel jet was used in ASMLs EUV lithography machines, but holy cow the depths of wizardry on this build is mind boggling 🤯 https://youtu.be/MiUHjLxm3V0

2D Stormwater Modeling, removes the need to delineate basins, choose unit hydrographs, and calculate time of concentration. Each cell has its own soil storage, surface storage, and hydraulic links to adjacent cells. Incredibly powerful stuff and cannot wait to use it on my next stormwater improvement project!

Ceres-1 exploded for a 2nd time over the past 4 years, with 20 successful missions. The two explosions are 2 year apart, the first in 2023 and the second in this late 2025. That is 9% failure rate. Is that high in engineering in general, and in rocker launching business?

How does the practice of "chaos engineering" look like in non-software projects? I wonder if there are typical chaos-like tests done across engineering disciplines? Like "what happens if I remove this screw, or cut this rope", etc.

Incredible video by Alex as usual. Really puts the scope of required for a lot of the things we do today to shame. Ends on an important note. https://youtu.be/AazmxNs5kmE?si=MbLhq9ZrewYgT55j
