One of my favorite features of timer-tab[dot]com is the active countdown time shown in the tab name 👀⏲️ It allows me to quickly glance at how much time is left while remaining focused in the current browser window Nice to have for Murmur too!

I liked Koko's feature ideas today from our Murmur 💡 ⏲️ Set a break time for the coworking session This gives everyone a notification sound reminder at the set time 🖼️ Picture in picture for the video Option to show persistently on the screen. We both had multiple windows open and it took us a few seconds to get back to the video to unmute.

I've been creating Murmur sessions ad hoc sometimes 30 min before on the calendar as I see good opportunities for virtual coworking I'm going to test out planning more ahead by adding to the calendar the night before after prioritizing what I'll work on the next morning

I discovered the @edgecity project while I was visiting Chiang Mai during Bangkok DevCon last year, and I loved it. We only stopped by to see some friends who were actively involved, but the idea captivated me instantly and I haven’t stopped thinking about this concept since. Recently I came across this post about Gelephu Mindfulness City in Bhutan, another brilliant move. The next one is in Patagonia and it makes perfect sense. I had the pleasure of visiting it 17 years ago when I spent a year studying in Argentina, San Martín is an Edge City by right. I wonder if at some point we’ll see one in the Canary Islands, the outer periphery of Spain. Takeaways from spending most of October at the @edgecity Lanna popup city in Chiang Mai, Thailand: • I enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by curious, high-agency people (especially builders) • between attending presentations, participating in DAOs and spontaneous excursions, felt a lot like a college campus (except everyone is a fully-grown adult and there of their own volition) • editing plant genes, learning about @metamask delegators and discussing the future of stablecoins with @vitalik.eth in the room is a vibe • got a taste of the “biohacker” lifestyle – sauna, cold plunge, measuring biomarkers with blood tests and fitness trackers • Thai food is cheap and amazing; pleasantly surprised at the quality and variety of health-conscious food options (though food poisoning is no joke) • digital nomading is hard when your company’s daily standup is effectively 11pm 😵 • popup cities inspired by @zuzalu and @ns are absolutely gonna explode next year and I am totally here for it

My first startup city experience has come to and end. It didn’t hit me how unique of an experience it was until I called a friend while walking home last night and to him my month was “not real life” Tbh I went mainly because it was before Devcon and I wanted to travel to Asia early. I underestimated the value of being around other high agency weirdos, and it turned out to be one of the best months of my life I didn’t do many activities, just lived my normal working life but had amazing daily convos with extremely interesting people all with unique perspectives on the world I think I came out a better person with multiple new lifelong friends I’m excited to see how these pop up cities mature and grow, there’s definitely something here Let Devcon begin 😈
