Euphoria Retreat - not about wow-architecture from the outside. It's a spa where even the treatment names sound like something you've never heard before. They took the classics, added local, historical, monastic vibes - and created a place where the body gets healed and the mind just… switches off.
At its core - a 19th-century stone mansion. In the 90s, new wings were added (you can spot them by the plastered facades). And in the 21st century, they built six more levels to tie everything together. The new parts echo the old stone, and the minimalist arcades reference the Despot's Palace in Mystras.
The spa sits on the top four levels, connected by a well-like staircase. Pools are woven right into the treatment path. Byzantine dome logic is everywhere: vaulted ceilings, arches, cozy alcoves - and the main pool, where the dome of a church reflects in its spherical floor. Heaven above, sphere beneath.
A 21st-century monastery. A place you come to , religious or not, to finally hear your own voice. Yours or someone else's. Doesn't really matter.
