On satisfying home repairs:
In my momâs old one-story house, thereâs this crawlspace under the roof. Itâs not even really a crawlspace because that implies thereâs enough space to get on your hands and knees. If youâre dexterous enough, you can wriggle, like a caterpillar, across the horizontal wood beams to get to where you want to do home repairs, etc. Youâve got to mostly lie prone as there are diagonal braces and trusses all over. Between those horizontal wooden beams is the drywall which is the ceiling of the rooms below so one false move or knee in the wrong place and youâve just made a dent or hole in the ceiling of one of the rooms below. My brother & I spent hours installing wire mesh covering small holes to the house exterior. A staple gun, bunch of chicken wire, and blood, sweat, and tears did the job. Some outfit quoted us $1200 for parts and labor. After 3+ hours, we were able to extricate ourselves from that claustrophobia-inducing crawlspace and from the $1200 bill. đ

as a parent, I wanted to make sure my daughters appreciated good (the stuff I like) music. and listening to what they play I did a helluva job. youâll never go wrong sharing your personal vibe.

had the opportunity to spend time with my young nephews today. now that my daughters are getting older and more independent it was nice to have some little (yittle @d4n4 ) ones around.

The kiddo has myopia and the good news is that nowadays myopia can be halted w/ a very affordable treatment called atropine. The bad news is that 6% of patients require reading glasses.... which is well just as bad as myopia. So đ¤ˇ

no this is true because you can now just buy shoes without shoelaces... those velcro straps.
so previously you needed to learn how to tie shoes at young age or trip hard. but now you can just use Velcro straps until you're in 4/5th grade

It's called settling down for a reason
Get all your adventure out of you while you are young and uncommitted.
It's tougher (but not impossible) to just pack up and go when you're older.
