Mohsin is one of the most honest journalists I have known on this platform. He is someone who has always focused on facts, even when it brought hardships. Recently, his BCCI accreditation for the Ranji Trophy final was rejected which is a historic match for J&K - a team he has covered his whole life.
I have myself gone through such things, not getting my accreditation for the 2023 World Cup, a few other tournaments and big bilateral games.
It is painful to see sincere people like him sidelined, who can actually work towards the betterment of sports in the country, while Instagram influencers get free access to players to create such content for views.

The 1993 Asia Cup was cancelled due to strained relations between Ind & Pak and the aftermath of the 1993 blasts.
This was the period when the BCCI used to pay Doordarshan to broadcast matches. Now, when the BCCI rules world cricket with an estimated net worth of 20K crores, it is beyond my comprehension why both the gov & the BCCI went ahead with the Asia cup and the game on 15th. And I am not taking any amount of mental gymnastics justifying their move

If anyone had followed and paid heed to whatever that Gambhir used to say in commentary box, or what he used to do as LSG coach or KKR mentor, you wouldnât be surprised at the tactics or lack of smarts. He was always like this. Would contradict himself at all times. LSG in one season had 7-8 players bat at number 3 in one season. Heâs the same person who started lobbying for SKY to be in Tests on the basis of white ball, asked Ashwin to bat at number 4.
So this was always coming. People who hype an individual on the basis of results should also look at the processes. You can win when you have enough quality even with wrong tactics. This is what is happening with the white ball team at present.
Always important to back someone who has a sound reasoning than someone who communicates in rhetorics or hyperboles.
