I love the ethos behind this new retroactive grants program from @gitcoin and @cabin -- they are awarding $10k in micro-grants to people who have built and deployed open source infrastructure for their communitiies.

community-building tip: listen carefully to each person's passions and gifts, then make thoughtful asks for them to share those gifts with the community.
its a great way to make them feel valued and like owners/leaders in the group
