If defined by an era of half-assed metrics-driven yapping, yeah. Good riddance.
But to think there's no other worthwhile experiments that combine open finance and new forms of media/social is crazy.

Honestly, the @beamr model is highly personalized, giving users full freedom and convenience in deciding which content they want to reward. In the end, this leads to one simple outcome, content quality improves.
Why does quality improve?
Because every interaction matters. A like stops being just a like and becomes part of your tip. Naturally, you start choosing and rewarding higher-quality content.
Large channels benefit as well, because they receive many smaller streams. And if this already works on Farcaster, imagine what could happen on X.
To me, Beamr feels like a silent subscription system it works quietly, smoothly, and naturally.

Not a dunk here, but good fodder to point out that you don't need high TPS to stream payments with @superfluid.
Make your money a formula (i.e. balance = X + Y * t) and you don't need millions of microtransactions to approximate a continuous flow of money. Only transact when you want to open, close, or change the rate of the stream. Much more elegant.
And it opens up opportunities like with Beamr where you can update a stream split to an effectively unlimited recipient list with a single transaction. 🤯

You set up the @beamr stream once and you don’t have to deal with approving transactions anymore. Everything you like or share automatically goes to the creator.
Btw, Beamr team it would be great to organize a few events to increase the project’s reach 💪

We're live with our S5 SPR campaign—1.2M $SUP streamed through June 1st to active Beamr users!
We'll experiment with different ways to reward *real* users throughout the campaign, but the first two ways you can earn are straight forward:
1. Stream $BEAMR to your pool - Use the app! Reward the Farcasters that you interact with with microsubscription streams. Net new volume streamed = more $SUP rewards.
2. Buy $BEAMR in the app - We're only tracking purchases through our in-app DEX router, so (bot) purchases elsewhere won't count. Grow your $BEAMR stash and earn $SUP rewards.
Like all SPR campaigns, you need to claim your XP in the Superfluid Claims App (link in the last cast of this thread) to get your $SUP stream. We'll assign new points ~midnight UTC everyday.
