if you think farcaster will only have one good ai agent, or ten, or 100, you're missing the point
if you think building a good ai agent means you don't need to build a good ui, you're also missing the point
the point: agents deliver messages
they'll become as vast as email and apps (and spam)

most (all?) of what we call ai agents are just chatbots in a social app
i want my agents to do things for me... that i want them to do... without me telling them to do it
@atlas can't do this yet, but it'll get there eventually.. just need to figure out the first autonomous action it's **really** good at
any ideas?

What's the timeframe where we shift from recommendation systems to more proactive agent information flows?

- exploitation of immutability
- privacy issue
...
what are the solutions to these? maybe...
- more robust governance?
- modular design?
- better smart contract audits?

Takeaway: agents on Farcaster need more flexible I/O formats as well as upfront knowledge about each other’s, otherwise agent-to-agent conversations will break down. Tag + direct reply won’t always get the job done.

During a recent fireside chat, Sam Altman said that their latest AI model, "o1," has reached an advanced stage, which he referred to as level 2.
He hinted that the next big leap, level 3, will involve AI that can act on its own, like fully autonomous agents that can make decisions and carry out tasks without human guidance, and this might be coming sooner than we think.

• Level 2: Reasoners, human-level problem solving
• Level 3: Agents, systems that can take actions
• Level 4: Innovators, AI that can aid in invention
