Some people actually go out believing most scams online are coming from India/Nigeria?

I can elaborate.
Back in Alaska, someone was hacking facebooks and scamming. 
Long story short, traced the IP address to Africa…only to be told it was a FAKE IP address that you can easily use by using a proxy site. 
Found out it was a lady in California that has her fake IP set to Africa.

P.S. there’s ways to change your iPhone so it shows your IP address coming from another part of the world.
Learned from POKEMON GO!!!!!!
If I can do it, scammers can do it.

P.S. I’ve never changed my IP address on Pokemon go or my phone. 🤣 Just there are even YouTube videos on how to do it.
