This couple spent 20 years trying to get pregnant, with the wife undergoing 15 unsuccessful IVF cycles in 20 years. My gf disagrees with me and I know it does sound selfish, but I have zero desire to bring a kid into my life that isn't biologically related to me. If I was having trouble having kids and had the means to keep on trying like this I would 100% do it. I have adopted people in my family and have zero connection with the people involved that aren't directly related to me, and I don't really want more of that for anyone else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

exactly and the stress on them both is unnecessary. you can have a very happy life without the baby at all or an adopted baby.
