The closer you get to God the more you realize you are nothing, and the more you realize you are nothing the more you become everything, and this is the actual mechanical function of how holiness works: complete self-annihilation produces infinite expansion, ego death births cosmic consciousness, the saint who knows he is worthless becomes worthy of sainthood, and the moment you think you've grasped this you've already lost it because grasping is exactly what prevents the paradox from operating
