as someone who works in property law/management, i don’t understand the idea behind increasing rent without any infrastructural changes/development. like what’s the logic? i don’t want to ask my boss cos i don’t want to feel stupid but i really don’t understand the concept.

Based on current happenings, rent is increased due to the current inflation of the housing market. Can’t blame the landlords, it’s the obvious thing to do but not the right thing to do

i don’t think they’re being fair with the increments sha. they usually overdo it and it’s unfair for tenants that want to renew their rents.
