Best over-ear noise-cancelling headphones?

I find AirPods Max uncomfortable.

I think the most popular and technically "best" are the Sony WH-1000XM6s but I find the Bose QuietComforts the most comfortable, been using them for years

I can confirm this take! I used to have Bose QC - the first generation, then swapped to Bose 700 to upgrade and recently swapped them for Bose QC Ultra as my 700s seems to work not the best at noisy places such as planes - the mics that were handing the noise cancellation were dirty and I had no idea how to clean them so I upgraded and I love them so much!! They are the lightest and the most comfy over ear headphones!
