A ride-hailing driver was run over by police officers during today’s protest, and the driver has just been declared dead on August 29, 2025. 2. The brutality of the police has led them to assault the protesters. All TV news outlets have been silenced and are not allowed to record or broadcast it, but there’s a live video clip from one of the demonstrations. 3. What is seen in this video shows the ugly side of law enforcement: an officer pulling someone’s hair and stomping on the head of a protester. The police should serve as protectors, guardians, and humane enforcers of the law. Violence only worsens the situation, causes trauma, and widens the gap between the people and the police.
