This is their own internal "LLM" from what I have heard.

tiktok has a huge ml dataset for their recommendation algorithm i think

My guess is every video has a weighted graph of videos to recommend, and as you view one it preloads the one it would show you *if* you like it, so when it gets served it comes in instantly.

I don't always like this though because sometimes I just want to search about a particular thing and then I see it all over my oage

This plus the speed to load videos is quite impressive

I think that's not hard with simple architecture.

Current video will always load
-> Next video 
-> Next video if the user likes this one

It can create an interesting graph!!
