I feel like founders who are good at this are rarely recognized for the skill itself, it's more like people say "damn that company has a cracked team" but a lot of work goes into that, most cos suck at recruiting

I have going through many startup recruiting processes and let me tell you most are eye-scratching levels of bad. I have seen everything from me having to show up at 7am in the office in the morning only to find out the founder forgot about it to having to wait 2 months for the offer to process to wrongfully booked double calls with the same person.
