It's hard to give Japanese restaurant recommendations because my favorites are all these small mom and pop joints.

Today's choice was an "Okinawan Soba" specialist.

The soup is light but the pork is much heavier than your standard Japanese fare. The rice on the left is also a local speciality called juushii.

Hard to say.

I'm roughly upper-intermediate. 

My reading, writing, and specialized vocabulary is much weaker than listening/speaking so I've slowly been grinding joyo kanji and vocabulary.

I sometimes wonder, how well can Zenigame-san speak Japanese?
