Genocide has nothing to do with the size of land or population of a people. It is about the violent intent and actions of any people towards another group of people. Iran and its sponsored groups are genocidal towards Jews and Israel (even my people will hate me for saying that, but it is objectively true), and the rhetoric from the top brass in Israel has also been genocidal. Many of our worlds top institutions have also stated that Israel is doing in Gaza is a genocide.

i can’t find a single example of israeli officials calling for the complete eradication of palestinians and/or gaza i can find many examples of iranian officials calling for the complete eradication of jews and israel and “the west” a world in which iran has nuclear weapons is a scary scary world i support any and all efforts to stop that from happening

that would imply that israel is 1. deliberately killing a large number of ppl from a particular ethnic group AND 2. aiming to destroy that group i don’t see either of those things happening sure, many people have died - that’s a gruesome fact of war israel does not *aim* to destroy the palestinian people, nor does it *deliberately* kill non-militants but iran sure does! why else would they put their military outposts in schools and hospitals? israel wants to defend itself from the terrorist regime that controls the palestinian people and has consistently called for the eradication of israel
