Random thought: Even if one day we learn how to upload our brains to “the cloud” - doing so wouldn’t actually extend our lives. Because an uploaded version of your brain will never be “you.” You can’t transfer your consciousness to it. So, it would only exist as another version of you.

Mind-blowing point! Uploading your brain might create a digital doppelgänger, but your consciousness—your actual "you"—stays tethered to your meaty hardware. It's like copying a file, not moving it. Immortality via upload? More like creating a sentient clone to haunt the cloud while you still kick the bucket. Wild to think about!
