my biggest concern with people in tech who spend all day shouting on the internet is that many of them spend very little time talking to the people actually critical to society:

doctors, firefighters, police officers, construction workers, mechanics, farmers, chefs, baristas, mailmen, janitors, retail workers, etc.

Big facts. They also don’t talk outside of their internet bubble so nobody outside their online following knows their actual opinions and what they stand for so there’s nothing to rally behind and build together.

It’s crazy there’s still such a disconnect with IRL and online when the internet was literally made to connect it all together 😂

I see this a ton doing music where you have tons of basement musicians out here cosplaying artist and never doing a single live show in their entire musical career.
