@zachharris.eth — iOS manages their own cache on device. If the app icon and name changed already I'd expect your notifications to update soon too.

same happens to me on iphone when i swap down for searching which app to open. im so used to it being a square purple W that my mind doesn't even catch this as it happens. i think of it afterwards. but kinda appreciate as a buffer to get used to this change. its pretty deep tbh
