If the SEC denies the ETH ETFs on the illegitimate grounds that ETH is a security, and the price nukes, you best believe I’m going to bid the hell out of it. But if I’m thinking this way, so are many others. Which means an ETH ETF denial is actually a *bullish* event.

The BTC ETF was rejected at the beginning of 2017 and went from $1k-19k that year. The market simple doesn't care in bull mode. It'll rip when it's ready. Plus the ETH ETF is destined to get approved eventually.

Does no one hold the opinion/belief that on longer time scales, an ETH ETF results in complete protocol capture by major US institutions? Does this not matter? Am I missing something here?

Agreed. ETF denial is already priced into the ETH/BTC ratio. It would be a sell the news / buy ETH event

Suppose you had a successful ETF launch and results were better than all your expectations. Now you have another ETF coming up with similar characteristics and you want your customers to have even better upside after approval, what do you do?
