Does it seem dangerous?  I hate trusting all the media headlines but I’m curious if it feels similar to what you’ve experienced in the past. (This is not meant to be a political post at all) straight up curious 

I see shit on the media about nyc and they make it seems 1000x worse than it is

i haven't stayed in this hyper-touristic area before, but aside from being crowded, it doesn't feel dangerous at all.

paris can feel dark at night since the streetlights are dim (for the vibes), so maybe groups of young people hanging out drinking/smoking look sketchy for old folks — but in reality, nothing happens, especially if you just mind your own business.

sounds like basically every other large city. haha. thats awesome though, maybe staying in the touristy area will give you a whole new perspective on paris!
