i actively dislike the idea of base names and separate identities on different evm chains but at the same time understand that new infra layer means new identity canvas

I think with time there will be a tool that will allow us to carry the same identity over multiple chains

It’s cool to have different ones mainly because we can play with our identities on them ( thinking about the way we have different IG profiles for example for different parts of ourselves - art, daily life, etc ) but at the same time not all people do this. They want to have the same identity across multiple platforms ( only one identity )

I would personally love to have the ability to have just one identity ( name ) across multiple layers instead of having to mint a new one every time a new layer appears 

I hope it makes sense as I’ve written it in a rush lol🌹
