LOVE, DEATH & ROBOTS. The first three seasons are a true technical marvel, with plenty of highly inspired moments on the narrative side. What the hell happened with this newly released fourth season? The stories, when there are any, to put it mildly, are just pathetic. Not a single script should have made it to production. Technically, we've completely lost that "how the hell did they do that?" feeling. A handful of shorts still hold up in that regard, but even then, they don't stand out. Certainly not compared to the level of previous seasons. Surprisingly disappointing.

The only episode of this season I really enjoyed was the cat and the robot one. Previous seasons I'm like "I can't choose which one I love the most"

It has its charm, maybe even one of the ones I liked the most. That one and the WWII airplane shortfilm, though that one won me over more for the technical side of things (I absolutely loved that animation) than anything else. After all, they’re basically just a bunch of gunfire and brains splattered everywhere.
