I’m looking for a new book and I want some recommendations. I’ve read and loved everything from mystery/thriller to fantasy. What’s the best book you’ve read in the last year?

Just finished The Last King of California and loved it! It’s brutal and violent and beautiful. But you definitely have to be in the right headspace to handle the violence of the book.

Claudius: The God

I’d recommend reading “I: Claudius” first tho

Ive only read two Kurt Vonnegut books (cats cradle and breakfast of champions) but id recommend any book by him tbh just based on his writing style alone
