The other day I read a very unusual book. It is an apocryphal book dating back to the third century B.C. called the Book of Enoch. The plot of this book would be the envy of any Hollywood blockbuster. Here there is love, and betrayal, and the struggle of good against evil, and angels, and giants. It's all imbued with the biblical spirit of the Old Testament. I'm sure all modern fantasy is built on the imagery from this book. I highly recommend it to everyone, regardless of religious views.
