i don't know how to easily verbalize this but there are many types of dicussions i do not believe i can have rn on farcaster, and i keep feeling like the content i see here is not meant for me ex 1: https://x.com/AgentChud/status/1919555187577860369 me and chud discuss merits of sway/fuel (does anyone here care abt utxos or other l2s or dsls?) ex 2: https://x.com/0xmons/status/1919489996580380871 my giving pushback on recent zora focus on not just content coins but imo general slop (see broader discussion here and some pushback on the original claim "you SHOULD support these onchain creators!") whereas the post here on fc had literally zero discussion: https://warpcast.com/dee/0x87e9fb76 lack of broader evm/tech discussion + lack of engagement when trying to talk abt resistance to overton culture here makes it feel hard to find solidarity or (and i am biased here), other reasonable ppl

I think 2 you could have on here - there’s been a lot of pushback to zora stuff on here that ppl would engage with. I would imagine that both yours and his follower/distribution difference plays a bit of a role in the diff in engagement on the same post on both platforms re 1 yea you are prob right i think the community here as it stands currently is more app layer focused and not as much deeper EVM/tech discussion

But again imo it's worth asking why it DIDN'T happen here Nobody gave pushback or continued the conversation This IS what happened

🤍 I think it's not popular to be a naysayer, and even less likely to get you a retweet of your coin link. Warpcast became really Base aligned over the last year, and while in some ways that's good (users know what to expect), I feel its userbase adopted some of the.. what I'd consider toxically positive acceleration mindset. I don't wanna blanket judge individuals/creators/artists who want to try the things that teams are building, but my default mode of operation is skepticism, particularly when 'thing is good' messaging is primarily being pushed by the platforms themselves. As a creator trying to uuuh, live a sustainable financial life, you're probably more likely to go with the flow and try to make a buck along the way, vs being oppositional, or spending your time scrutinizing all the potential negative impacts of a certain creation/reward model. There's often a small window for potentially huge success in these mini hype cycles of attention.
