on a scale of mean to genius what do you think of setting a timer every 30 min and placing it in a separate room where you can still hear it so you're forced to get up at least every 30 min and drink water, stretch, have a snack, etc would you get super annoyed by the beeping every 30 min or would you feel 100x better anyway bc you're hydrated and well fed

It's called Pomodoro Technique and one of my best tools! I even had a tomato-shaped timer, once upon a time. I now use the microwave timer because microwaves are harder to lose.
