China supplies >3.6million drone batteries, 1million fibreoptic spools for Vandal drones and millions of drone components to Russia to aid their SMO so why not do business to another of their trade partners. Having China as an ally is very advantageous due to their supply range and capacity, no other country comes close. Russia needs it's missiles for now and they have amped their missile production to 9x the pre SMO level so capacity is close to maximum. Friedrich Merz is preparing Germany for what he called a “new reality,” in which conflicts and wars are becoming more frequent around the world. Merz reiterated his goal of building “the strongest conventional army in Europe” in Germany. Currently, with 180,000 soldiers, the Bundeswehr ranks fourth among NATO countries in Europe in terms of size, behind Turkey, Poland, and France. Regarding the threat from Russia, Merz said that President “Putin only understands the language of force” and mentioned that. At the same time, the Chancellor acknowledged that Berlin had long ignored the warnings from Eastern and Central European countries about “Russia’s imperialist policy,” but that Germans have now realized this “mistake,” and “there is no way back.”

Jonathan's experience in Iran very much jibes with my own. I don't think I've ever felt the level of openness, warmth, and hospitality toward me as a stranger that I felt from the people I met in Iran. They elevate civility and etiquette practically to an art form — or, in the case of 𝘵𝘢𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘧, to a competive sport :) If you've ever seen the late great Anthony Bourdain's Iran episode of his travel series "Parts Unknown," you know that he came away with a very similar impression of the Iranian people. Tony once wrote: "The vibe in Iran, the general feeling of walking down the streets, through the markets, the way we were received everywhere by total strangers and passersby was overwhelmingly friendly.
