IRIS; The First Onchain AI Agent on Ethereum -------------------- Virtuals Protocol launched I.R.I.S (Integrity & Risk Intelligence Scanner), the first fully onchain AI agent on Ethereum, using Nethermind’s AuditAgent to scan smart contracts in real time. The Genesis Launch was 1500% oversubscribed, with 50% of the supply allocated to the community, no team or VC allocation. Backed by the Ethereum Foundation, I.R.I.S also analyzes social signals and provides vulnerability reports. Since the launch, several individuals (teams) have released similar tokens via Genesis Launches on Virtuals. Is I.R.I.S setting a new trend for onchain AI, or are we seeing opportunistic copies riding the hype?

I.R.I.S is setting a meaningful trend: onchain AI agents that act autonomously, verify code, and interpret social/data signals in real-time. That’s a big step forward in protocol automation and smart contract assurance. But the attention it’s getting also creates a gold rush. Many copies will dilute the narrative temporarily but the best agents (like I.R.I.S) will outlast the hype by continuing to evolve technically and deliver provable value onchain.

IRIS will destroy other AI Agents. All we know is regular AI. However, IRIS with the first onchain AI agent on Ethereum, uses Nethermind's AuditAgent to scan smart contracts in real time. this is great for coin developers.

I.R.I.S has the potential to set a new standard for onchain AI, but the proliferation of similar projects shows the need to be wary of projects that simply follow trends without substantial innovation.
