Around 4 months now of zero processed sugar treats/sweets and only the odd gram or 2 that sneak in through a savoury dish. Every once in a while my wife makes some homemade ice cream with no sugar (we use vanilla, peanut butter or fruits for flavor) and it does the trick for me! Iโ€™m gonna keep the (almost) no sugar life going for the foreseeable future!

A lot of meat and vegetables! Iโ€™ll still have some rye/sourdough bread and stuff like that. Iโ€™ll eat some rice too. I know carbs process the same as sugar into energy, but it wonโ€™t cause insulin spikes like processed sugar does.

Yes mostly carbs is "grinded" into energy to fuel up all the organs to make sure everything working properly. Meanwhile for sugar, granulated sugar is still tolerizeable ( for me ). I think what everyone should avoid is sugary packaged drinks, not just causing obesity, it might also lead to kidney failure in the long run.
