Streme.fun won the most recent $QR auction....as the first ever crowdfunded win.

We decided to point the QR of the day to the Streme mini-app link, and the results blew us away:

- Trending Mini-App: #15 → #3 (ATH)
- Mini-App Adds: 53 → 736 (ATH)
- Mini-App DAUs: 534 → 2,145 (ATH)
- Base App #1 Finance Category

**Here's how the magic happened:**

Our bid was $1000, crowdfunded by $streme holders through the first ever "streaming crowdfund." The mechanic wasn't simple necessarily, but it was pretty damn cool. The tl;dr: stakers could reroute their staking rewards to the crowdfund pool and get a huge chunk of Superfluid $SUP as a bonus for their contribution.

The beauty was in the inevitability. Once you rerouted your rewards, they just kept accumulating in the crowdfund pool without any further action needed. Set-and-forget, ever-increasing crowdfund power.

**The drama unfolded like this:**

12 hours in: ~$50 worth of $streme pooled. Next day: $146. At $242: We started bidding (mostly for fun). Lost a few bids in the $400s, but I knew our win was inevitable at this point.

Then plot twist: $streme market cap jumped from ~$300k to ~$600k when a virtuals whale aped in. We had crushed our target with ~$1200 pooled together.

But we lost again to a $1500 bid.

We were still going to win though. Inevitability, as you have it, is a powerful force.

Finally, we took QR Auction #141 with a bid of $1000 - exactly our initial target.

**What this really means:**

A set-and-forget ever-increasing crowdfund is a powerful community primitive. Our Streme groupchat was going wild every day as we pushed for wins and pooled funds. At the end of the day, stakers chose between collecting rewards or contributing to something they felt would make the token and platform more valuable (the SUP rewards didn't hurt, I'm sure).

I'm glad we didn't win the first day. The back and forth with @jake and our community's public attempts made for great timeline drama (though I'm also glad we pulled it out before too much time passed).

This started from a cast where I declared Streme should make a shot at QR. @burrrrrberry, @kylepatrick.eth, and @sayangel all committed one week's worth of rewards. Sounded like a great feature to add, so I prototyped it with @markcarey over a few days, then spent weeks refining and waiting for the right moment to launch.

As always, I adore building with the Farcaster community. You guys are truly the best.

**Immediate Followup:**
@markcarey and I prioritized two features when it looked like we'd win in the next few days: 1) a small experimental daily drop of staked Streme that would immediately get rewards flowing to mini-app users' wallets and 2) a basic tutorial of what Streme was all about. 

Neither of these are in their final form, but I wanted a very strong carrot to keep mini-app users coming back while we worked on future improvements.

**Looking forward:** 
The pool is actually still growing even now as you read this! In the immediate short-term, we'll transition out of a goal-driven crowdfund to a more general $streme marketing fund, with future initiatives (betrmint, warpslot, DAU, etc.) in the works. 

More broadly, streaming set-it-and-forget-it community crowdfunds feel like a powerful primitive for the platform, especially since we can easily allow access to other Streme launched tokens down the line.

Zeni crowdfunded $1,000 to win a @qrcoindotfun auction.

His mini app surged to #1 in the finance category on Base and #3 overall trending on Farcaster as a result.

They doubled their $STREME market cap in the process and now have a growing, general-purpose marketing fund.
