gonna try and give this run down stage/deck the dewalt special. absolute hazard to walk on. if i can get all the boards secured again im gonna power wash it and see what happens

Wow there's some cupping on those boards! Don't take this the wrong way but make sure you pre-drill those end fixings...dry ol wood like that will split like a bugger given half a chance😬

not taken wrong at all, exactly right. assuming made out of untreated pallet [i didn't build this] and that's exactly right. much has split and nearly all have cupped. 4 or 5 of the boards at this point weren't secured at all lol. pulled some screws out and saw that every screw is entirely too short...

also i split 1 or 2 just wild screwing into them today but we move on 😂 every board is a breath away from splitting. may end up just removing the thing we'll see
