Why did @syndicate decide to use a novel airdrop strategy (airdropping to aligned communities instead of individuals) and how do you think this decision will shape the overall growth of the token and the network? What are some interesting ways you would like to see airdropped communities use the token?

Very good question! This interview with @11am is a good summary: https://x.com/11AMdotclub/status/1966225786916257954 We knew we wanted to do a launch that was less extractive and more aligned than the traditional playbook. With the traditional playbook, you give out a lot of tokens for them to end up in the hands of people who are not aligned with your community Instead, we decided to do an airdrop in two parts: 1) To communities that we knew were aligned. We airdropped to the project/DAO treasuries so that they could decide the best way to engage their own members 2) To Aerodrome voters, who bootstrapped liquidity This led to a launch that was far more efficient and aligned than the usual playbook. In hindsight it feels pretty obvious, but many people thought it was too risky so no project before us had decided to take the leap I hope that the tokens go toward a flywheel where communities learn about SYND, they use chains built on top of SYND, and then SYND chains have more users. We will see!
