27 years ago from today I met my bride and 21 years ago from today I married her! My life instantly changed for the better. Relationships take work and are not for the faint of heart. I promise if you can get through the selfish desires and become one flesh, marriage becomes almost magical. For me the world stops spinning with just a touch!

Happy Anniversary! It can be tough to face reality and let go of the Happily Ever After fairy tale movie endings. When the rose-colored glasses are removed, it’s tough to change the perspective that “relationships shouldn’t be hard” or “take work” because they should just “click” and be perfect. If it’s not perfect then it wasn’t meant to be. But…these are false narratives. And it takes mental fortitude to realize that anything worth having is worth the work it takes to build it up and nourish it. 💪🏽
