true but this is a very often used feature every day for every active caster unless something coming next friday involivng it I think it hurts usability significantly and gets more annoying with time also there are other issues with it for people who're not familiar with that feature in the first place

feels like a set it and forget it feature for me - which channels are you actively switching it for? šŸ‘€ but agree w usability issues, i mean i didn't even know initially where to find it and i'd like to think i'm pretty savvy - if i didn't know the feature existed i'd probably have never found it

could be a part of a problem that I keep seeing very niche posts where I think people would no doubt put that toggle on lol it's just there are so many channels that for me there's certainly one or two new ones daily I post into

fair enough - i think for me, i keep my setting on 'everyone' since it helps with channel discoverability i mean, regardless of how niche the topic may be, it's how i've found some interesting channels through my own feed (i don't think i would've ever actively looked for /ouliposting for example) i pretty much keep narrowcasting down to frame interactions that i don't want to spam my followers with 🄲

that's a perfect use case for it yes, frames and other engagement stuff, especially if it's forced by someone else like quote cast this or that
