GPS orbits 12,550 miles above the Earth Europe’s Galileo, Russia’s GLONASS, China’s Beidou — the issue they all have is given the distance, GPS is easy to jam. That's bad if you want to make drones common. So Xona Space Systems wants to build Pulsar, a constellation of 258 satellites in low Earth orbit that would be 12,000 miles closer. https://www.technologyreview.com/2025/06/06/1117978/inside-the-race-to-find-gps-alternatives/

What I just read is a sophisticated research institute that specializes in solving problems occurring due to the complexities of extraterrestrial exploration and exploitation working hard to build a more accurate location system that makes military weapons more efficient and effective. I know that's not what you typed. But it's what I read.
