The void itself is “something” and something can never be nothing. So there is no void to go to. At a minimum, maybe we live on in the memories of others and the damage we did to matter around us. I never met a dinosaur but they exist still in my museums, gas tank and imagination.

Yeah. Not saying anyone is wrong here. Just that the lens of the living has probably a limited ability to comprehend the act of biological life ending.
