Is it because the people who came of age during the 80-90’s are now remaking the world according to their adolescence? It’s eery. Like, are the Spice Girls touring with Meatloaf too?

Doesn’t that help make my point? Trump thinks he was at his best. And your mom agreed that 80s era Trump was hot stuff. He was a different kind of bad, sure, but I can’t shake the sense that he’s eager to return to some post-modern version of that scene, albeit with weird new presidential powers to make it a reality.

I think america in general is trying to go back to a better time (which does never existed) even before trump.. may trump just choose a different flavor of the trend
